Ben Frost

Ben Frost joined NG Advantage in October of 2013 as Vice President of Technology before being named Chief Technology Officer in the fall of 2014. An adept information technology professional, Frost is keenly focused on leading the company’s technical vision in support of its strategic objectives.

A creative thinker with almost 20 years of experience, Frost played an instrumental role in the design and successful implementation of the company’s propriety Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The system provides real-time data to ensure safe, secure, reliable, and efficient operations.

Four years before coming to NG Advantage, Frost was a Lead Network Engineer at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. While at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, he led the team responsible for LAN/WAN and Datacenter communications. Accomplishments include the build out of new enterprise primary and redundant data centers, core network redesign and the communications between all corporate facilities worldwide.

Frost began his career at Fletcher Allen Health Care where he spent more than a decade there as Senior Network Engineer responsible for managing networks across 30 plus sites in Vermont and New York. As an out of the box thinker and programmer, he also developed and automated several hospital systems.

Frost earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business with a minor in Computer Science from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.
